The Sign Engraver panel on the right shows
the accuracy and reverse engraving technique of the filled
panel area. This sign is a great demonstration of what
engraving can achieve when using computers. The original
font was sent to us, but was unsuitable for engraving
because the nodes and in particular, each little foot, known
as a serif, was badly drawn.
Tip: When making signs, the letters are always large. Let
our design team recommend a well drawn font that is similar
rather than use a unique font that wont scale to large
sizes. Over 2000 fonts in our library, one is bound to be
the original.
Engraving Signs like this with computers allows very
accurate text and design work.

Page 1: This image demonstrates
serif engraving and reverse fill panel engraving. The long
blue panel is engraved leaving the raised letters. This is
very delicate work and uses a slower machine spin rate.
Looks fantastic. |
